Navigating your birth with the right team. Planning your birth in and outside of the system
Choosing the right team around you from the start of your pregnancy can help with this planning so it doesn’t feel too overwhelming to do alone. Choose the people you want to share your journey with and who you feel most aligned with, as potentially these people/or person will be with you during your most vulnerable moments.
The first forty days
From changes to relationship dynamics, physical and emotional changes, trying to ensure the new mother is nourished and well rested, navigating the practicalities of newborn life and establishing breastfeeding are just some of the huge changes a new mother (and family) will experience in those first forty days.
Navigating the third trimester
The physical, emotional and spiritual journey you are on at the end of pregnancy is often filled with trepidation, excitement, uncertainty, expectation and vulnerability. You are about to embark on the biggest life transition, becoming a parent and all that brings.
Empowering VBAC at home
This is what care outside of the NHS can look like. A pregnancy journey that you choose. Birth on your terms. A team you choose who align with you and will bring a wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge of physiological birth and will help empower you, advocate for you, hold you and support your birth preferences that may be “out of guidance”.
